Non-Center Cutting applications have peripheral teeth allowing for the user to side (radial) cut or contour an exterior surface. Used in applications where plunge cutting is not necessary. Spiral flutes are constructed of a high flute angle to remove chips more easily. Titanium Nitride (TiN) is a multi-purpose coating which increases chip flow in softer materials. The heat and hardness resistance allows the tool to run at higher speeds than uncoated tools.
